Dr. Squat - Dr. Fred Hatfield

This snapshot (circa 1987) may well have captured the greatest assemblage of lifters in history:

• Dave Waddington, First human ever to squat over 1,000 pounds (unofficially)
• Ted Arcidi, Benched a new World Record the day before this picture was taken, 666 pounds (the number of the BEAST)
• Lee Moran, The first human to officially squat 1,000 pounds
• Dr. Fred Hatfield, broke Moran's record with 1,014 pounds in the squat the day before this picture was taken
• Andy Kerr, European super-heavyweight champion.
