I hail from New Delhi and max temp here is hovering around 45 deg celcius.
I personally find it difficult to eat meat and eggs. I always feel like taking more melons, coconut water etc.
But I feel like losing some strength and muscle mass.
Please advice how can I, at least maintain status quo as far as muscle mass is concerned.
Thanks
Hot weather notwithstanding,
Hot weather notwithstanding, ya GOTTA get your protein 5 times a day! You WILL lose muscle otherwise. Be careful with your diet. It's a small price to pay.

if you have access to a freezer, why not make frozen protein drinks?
You can buy protein powders in india, no?
sure, getting all your protein from powder isn't optimal..but it's better than not getting any. You can mix whey and cassein and even egg protein and use liquid flavoring drops to add flavor if the taste is too bad. also add cinnamon and turmeric to your shakes to stabilize blood sugar and slow absorption..adds a nice flavor too IMO.
remember the zig zag rules as doc says...you HAVE to eat atleast 5 times per day! amino levels must be spiked every few hours (2-3 hours is the "rule"). don't ever go more than 3 hours or so without eating. doing so is plain stupid.
45 degrees celcius....whew! I couldn't stand it. I definitely would have trouble eating meat in that temperature.

Summer time heat calls for steak tartare - today where I live 118F heat index. Raw eggs and steak tartare from an organic grass-fed source that I trust and I'm good to go. Five times a day eating not a problem even if it's hot. Plus, added benefit is that raw meat only takes about 1hr to digest as opposed to 4hrs for cooked. Throw in some organic cream for more calories and I can survive. As a side note, I take unfiltered Apple Cider Vinegar and HCI with meals for improved digestion and for the raw factor.
