Rest or bite the soreness bullet?

Hi, all. Just did a beginning warm-up workout yesterday. My arms are a bit sore today, so undoubtedly will be even more sore tomorrow.

I'm starting on a Mon, Wed. Fri. schedule come this Monday, and because I'm just starting out muscle soreness will likely be an issue (even starting and easy...I'm that out of shape).

My question is: when muscles are really sore do you suggest keeping on schedule and working through the pain and stiffness or skipping that workout day and resting?

give it a rest...you won't lose more than a day or two...no big deal.
