PH Correct Creatine?

Anybody heard of this stuff? The idea is that most regular creatine gets turned into useless creatinine in liquids because of the low PH but this stuff is supposed to be more available to the muscles because of the higher PH which makes it more stable in the stomach. What doesn't make sense to me is that the creator patented this but there are plenty of companies that make it.

All I know is there have been tons of creatine products over the years and creatine monohydrate is still the standard. Was just wondering if this is another one of those fads.

Creatine Monohydrate

I can't speak to the scientific mechanism related to supplemental creatine consumption and PH balance. However, much evidence exists, anecdotal and scientific, that pharmaceutical grade creatine monohydrate is effective at maintaining ATP levels and providing intracellular hydration.

"It another one of those

"It another one of those fads", so to speak.

The Supplement Companies Problem

Their problem with creatine is that their isn't much profit in creatine. So, what they end up doing is adding in some "proprietary"

Even Better

It actually does make the product better. Better in regard to making the manufacturer more money.

However, the only thing it really does for you is deplete you checking account.

I guarantee it will never work if you never try it.

On the same order as Kenny

On the same order as Kenny has mentioned, as I understand creatine works and always has. It's actually one of the only supplements legal in the US that actually works. Because of that it actually used to be really expensive, perhaps 10 times it's current market price.

Over time it got cheaper because more people started to sell it. So the supplement companies had to start coming up with ways to sell you something new (such as creatine ethyl ester) so they could charge you more. It's all just a big sales gig. As I already mentioned, creatine has always worked and still does. But if they can convince you that the new form is better, of course they will. Sales men will literally tell you anything they can in order to get you to buy stuff.

Low and high pH

The funny thing is, there are claims from sellers of higher-pH creatine products, like Kre-Alkalyn, that their product is superior, and claims from sellers of lower-pH creatine products, like Con-Cret, that THEIR product is superior.

By the way these captchas are getting too difficult. If this posts, it will be after multiple attempts.

thanks, guys. that's what I thought. They're trying to fix what isn't broken.
