I had energy problems for years, coffee helped but made me nervous. I took 75mg of CoQ10 last night and felt young, youthfull, and mentally/physically fast again. No side effects. I recomend it especially if you take a statin drug for cholesterol.
Do you think there's any chance it's just a "placebo effect" you're experiencing? After taking a supplement one time, it's hard to imagine getting any real benefit from it so fast. Why not keep taking it for a month and then assess your condition? I know from experience, for example, taking one vitamin C supplement when I was younger hoping it would cure my cold, and within an hour I "thought" I was feeling better, only to remain sick another 3 or 4 days.
I had sustained energy for about 12 hours off of one pill. I don't know why it worked so fast and so well. It was better then coffee with no anxiety. It has not been as good the next few days but I did notice it. I will just keep taking it.
