Cissus Quadrangularis-does this work?

I'm 1 week post surgery for a completely torn supraspinatus and a partial torn infaspinatus. I have been doing some reading since I can't do much else. Is this stuff for real or is it just another 'snake oil' supplement hyped by the marketer? I'm already taking fish oil, mineral supplements that have been suggested in other posts on this board. Was just curious if this stuff would be of any benefit. Thanks for any information.

I'm taking it right now for some shoulder issues and it does seem to have helped. I've taken it in the past but no for long enough periods of time to really benefit. If you go to bodybuilding.com and go Cissus in the products section and then to the bottom of the products and check out the USPlabs cissus product, you can look at user reviews. It's very positive and more then likely wort at least trying for a while.

I don't know anything about it, but I've recently had some experience with Charles Poliquin's Joint and Sinew support formulas and they are way better than advertised!

I highly recommend them.
