Is it even possible to squat ATG with out the "tail" tucking that i see everyone do once they go below parallel? I keep trying to find info on this. i thought t-nation had a whole article dealing with this but i couldnt find it and i looked for like 3 hours.
but any way we've got lots of smart people here. has any one ever seen some one squat ATG with a tight arch in there spine and no "tail tucking". are olympic class weightlifters able to front squat ATG with out tucking there tail at the bottom?
Some one suggested this was a normal and good thing, but so many people say its not. are they confusing this "tail tucking" with rounding of the back? b/c the spine is still extended but the tail tucks.
I believe the problem with
I believe the problem with most people that do this is because of the lack of flexibility of your shin coming forward without your heel coming up will have you rounding over like this to keep the bar at center of gravity. i do it, my flexibility is lousy and i work on it. I don't have back issues because of it. i just live with it. But there are people out there who can do this without rounding their back.
Let me not judge my fellowmen, but understand them, Lord, and when the casting of the stones begins, remind me of my many sins.

That's not lumbar flexion. You're simply noticing pelvic nutation, it's normal.
I've posted about it a few times in the archives. Don't know if they are still on here or not with the new forum however.
