re: shoulder replacement

On Nov 19, 2009, I had a partial right-shoulder replacement, specifically the Copeland Process. The surgeon chose this alternative to a total shoulder replacement since he said I could do some lifting after recovery.

Although I did a PR of 203 kilos in competition in the Bench Press at 198 lb, I know that I'm unable to do that amount any longer.

Is there a measure of how much weight and stress my shoulder could safely attempt?

And since the BP shirt gives stability to the shoulder, is their other remedial gear to safely do the BP?

Other factors:

1. 64 yo
2. both hips replaced
3. Both hands, carpal tunnel surgery
4. left shoulder will eventually need replacement
