A few have requested sites to find good research.....besides sportsci, medline and pubmed here are a few others as well as a few other sites that may not be research sites, but will great info that you can then go and research more on::

http://www.emedicine.com/

http://www.jneurosci.org/searchall/

http://tomlevymd.com/

http://www.bodyessence.ca/

http://www.wholehealthmd.com/ME2/Default.asp

http://www.planetherbs.com/

http://www.herbalremediesinfo.com/index.html

http://www.jonnybowden.com/

Plenty of others, but I was going through some files and found these.

Also, note that while I think all of those sites contain excellent info, I do not believe in, agree with, or endorse everything contained within those pages and the first person that suggest I'm making some type of recommendation from a page I may not have even see before will be subjected to suffering with his own stupidity for the remainder of his life on earth.

Todd you got any links to movies or dvd's that show some good PNF movements and good dynamic stretches. The PNF movements i am talking are like the high cable raise pnf movement and someother stuff alike you dont see a lot online.

I don't. Frankly, despite the extensive amount of info on the internet, good info on stretching/flexibility work is rare. I don't know of a good info source addressing it specifically. There's good of hand references in various articles, or portions of articles or websites that have a little on it, but nothing extensive. Your best bet is to get a book such as Facillitaed stretching by Robert McAtee, or a book specifically about PNF. There's several pretty good ones.

See iam asking cause i messed up my right shoulder as i told you in a post i while ago. See i think its cause long ago i was doing this stretch for my tris where you lift your elbow up and you pull it back a little and i was thinking it would help my shoulders but i think i over-stretched it??? I was told try some movements at home and in the gym then see if ART is needed if nothing works. You think this is any good? http://www.dragondoor.com/flexibility/

I was really hoping for pnf type movements that can be done in the gym like the high cable raise pnf movement.

Not the best resource on flexibility. Check out some of the info at T-nation by Eric Cressey and John Paul Cantanzaro regarding shoulder health. Also, understand, that unless you have inadequate flexibility, flexibility training for the sake of just doing it is not beneficial. If you could squat 1000 lbs. without working out would you need to workout? If you can move a joint through it's full ROM with no pain or great effort, there's no reason to stretch the muscles acting on that joint. They have optimal flexibility.

I have seen the articles on t-mag i will go back and check them out again. You think the foam roller is worth it? I know i saw an article on t-mag about it going to re-read it. I meant to say that my left shoulder is messed up a little not right. I can touch my upper back with both hand reaching all the way back but my left shoulder might hurt when doing that. That is something that i want to fix. Oh and when doing decline db ext i noticed that when it gets tough my right shoulder blade says on the bench but my left one will raise just a little. But that side isnt weak.
