Wild stuff. His form looks really bad to pull that kind of massive weight. Head down, back rounded. Can't argue the number though. Seems like with the 940-970's popping up that 1K is only a matter of time to fall. I'd pull the 1,000 but it's been such a busy week
Unbelievable! Mods, can this video be preserved in the archives?
Doc, I saved the Bolton vs. Magnusson video to a .flv file then converted it to a .avi. I used an eval version of Total Video Converter to convert it, so they put their info in the top left-hand corner of the video.
If someone wants to reconvert the FLV file, then download the one with the .txt extension, rename it to .flv, and then convert it. I guess for security reasons the web server generates an error if you click on the .flv file because it doesn't recognize the file type, and I dont have time right now to modify the server's config.
Mods - I don't intend to be a permanent host for the video, I'm just trying to give you an easy way to save it somewhere, but I can keep it for a while. Is this forum able to host video files?
Just put the video up, all our videos are at http://drsquat.com/videos/ as we get more we'll put up a directory of them all and lots of good stuff like that.

Love that vid of Doc squatting. I still think it's funny (and amazing) that he did the squat without cinching his belt.
it should be noted that Magnusson did token squat and b.pr. attempts at below 50 % of his max (!!!!!) while Bolton maxed on the squats and b.pr.s with monster weights before attacking the deadlift.... A universe of difference. Bolton freshly apparoaching the bar like Magnusson would yield an extra 50-100 lbs at that monster level. Bolton is 1 class stronger in the deadlift imho.

I don't recall seeing those before. Regaurdless, thanks for the post. It's always great to see those guys lift.

I was away from the forum for a few months, except for checking on things a couple of times, so I missed a lot of what's been posted.
