Didn't feel like lactate due to sore shoulders from yesterday's pressing

working acceleration band from supermarket aldi about 100lb at top very strong band.

+ bands 12 singles with 115kg 60% of 190kg in 3 week now
Assistance Hopper deadlifts (bounce in between reps) 2 sets of 5
I had to trim callouses down again.

How do you like them hopper deadlifts? Are you actually using the wood plank? I read about that in an olde timey lifting magazine and thought about trying them, but never found myself in a gym that would put up with the racket.

No I am just bouncing the reps a little . Usually I reset but my sticking point is no longer the floor. It is mid-shin . I am using Cressey's band deadlifts article on EFS. I read about it in Artie Drechsler's book. I have mats it is not that loud but light weights yet.

cycle about 1 hour most of journey low intensity. Ocassional hills were difficult. HR around 120 mostly up tp around 150 possibly 160 ish on last hill but not for long. I am still a poor cyclist. Gradually getting the hang of picking the gears.

Built a tyre sledjust moved the eyebolt from the plastic sled to the tyre and used the same setup chains and dog leads.
tyre creates significantly more drag than the plastic which is good as I won't have to use as much weight.
Did 30lbs 1trip i..e just the tyre
70/80lb sandbag ------- 110lb felt quite heavy I am a bit beat but it is definitely harder.
3 sets of 10 swings sledgehammer on tyre.
Will try and do this regulary .It's hard with 16lb sledgehammer . I don't have a lighter one.

add 25kg plate two trips . Very difficult the tyre is adding a lot of drag and I think the part where the plates rest was dragging too. Will have to alter sled to fic plates in plates. Rows are too dangerous with the plates moving.

Benched on Sun felt week but hit PR reps 8 x 90kg managed 1 100kg so not good.

Tuesday felt shit yesterday and today.

Tried Db snatches lights 2 each side 10kg, 25kg 32,5 OK but hard.
42.5kg failed twice got third attempt single fatigued though could make more on a better day.
Db deadlift 55kg + what appeared to be about 50kg thick handles though.
Tried few 60kg clean ok but not hitting rack solidly.

Deadlifts from cressey article form few doubles 60kg, 80kg , 100kg grip was lslick with no chalk.
found a better bar , it was an eleiko bar. would be good with chalk not too slick or harsh just right. Didn't bring chalk.
Did some tricep pushdowns , unweighted leg curls, v light leg presses.
Finished with power jerk 3 sets of 3 with 60kg not bad . 70kg x 2
80kg x 1 but pressed it out slightly. Couldn't split jerk due to length of mats.
